Technology is just a tool. In terms of getting the kids working together and motivating them, the teacher is the most important.
– Bill Gates
Instructional technology is the theory and practice of utilizing learning resources. Any tool–from cellphones to whiteboards to podiums to online learning–that seeks to increase student engagement and understanding qualifies as instructional technology.
At the CTE, we believe in applying technology with a purpose. Our goal is always to work with you to find the tools that help enhance your teaching, not someone else’s. So if you’re into laser pointers or would rather flip the classroom, let us know how we can work with you to make your teaching the most excellent it can be.
Information in bite sized pieces to start a conversation, facilitate discussion, or give you a starting point for learning.
Whether you want the slides from a presentation the CTE hosted, or you’re looking for some exciting new templates to modify for your own presentations, we’ve got you covered.
The CTE develops basic Moodle tutorials for training purposes. You can download our latest packet, check out our online knowledge base, or request a consultation to sit down one-on-one with Moodle together.
