instructional technology

Technology is just a tool. In terms of getting the kids working together and motivating them, the teacher is the most important.

– Bill Gates

what is instructional technology?

Instructional technology is the theory and practice of utilizing learning resources. Any tool–from cellphones to whiteboards to podiums to online learning–that seeks to increase student engagement and understanding qualifies as instructional technology.

At the CTE, we believe in applying technology with a purpose. Our goal is always to work with you to find the tools that help enhance your teaching, not someone else’s. So if you’re into laser pointers or would rather flip the classroom, let us know how we can work with you to make your teaching the most excellent it can be.
