Ezra was a leader, a godly person and most importantly, the man who sparked one of the most significant spiritual awakenings in post-exilic Israel. The Bible tells us “For Ezra had set his heart to study the Law of the Lord, and to do it and to teach his statutes and rules in Israel” (Ezra 7:10).
Ezra’s legacy is a model for ministry:
1. Learn the Word of God
2. Do the Word of God
3. Teach others the Word of God
I have made this scripture a theology of my teaching ministry since my first year at Lee.
If you have seen my email you know that my mission in life is “to help others know God truly and faithfully.”
