Definition Essay

The essay should be around 750 words. As always, the essay should have a clearly written thesis. The thesis for this essay should contain the term that is being defined as well as “why” you are defining the term. Remember to use as many of the patterns of development as you think appropriate: description, narration, process, exemplification, cause/effect, division/classification, and comparison/contrast.

Topic: a term that has special meaning to you personally. The term may concern your beliefs, work, family, hobbies, etc. Make sure that your term is rich enough to develop into an essay.
