Dr. Brian Reichenbach<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Brian Reichenbach<\/a> is Assistant Professor of Trumpet at Lee University School of Music<\/a> in Cleveland, Tennessee.  Previously, he served in various roles as a teacher and conductor at Trinity International University, Olivet Nazarene University, Wheaton College, and College of DuPage, directing wind ensembles and teaching classes in music theory, aural skills, and brass techniques.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Reichenbach established himself as a versatile musician in the Chicago area for nearly twenty years. As a chamber musician, he has performed as a member of the International Chamber Artists, New Chicago Brass, and Lincoln Park Brass. Dr. Reichenbach has also been a member of the Elmhurst Symphony and performed with ensembles including Chicago Sinfonietta, Illinois Philharmonic Orchestra, Quad Cities Symphony Orchestra, Millar Brass, and Eurobrass. He also appears regularly as a guest soloist, clinician, and adjudicator and teaches at Csehy Summer School of Music<\/a> in Langhorne, Pennsylvania.\u00a0 Dr. Reichenbach has performed under major conductors including James Conlon, James Levine, and Yuri Temirkanov and in 1999 and 2006 performed as solo trumpet in the premieres of operas by Bernard Rands and Ned Rorem under the direction of David Zinman at the Aspen Music Festival.\u00a0 He has presented at the International Trumpet Guild Conference, performed multiple times at the Midwest Clinic, and recently released an album<\/a> with organist Rhonda Sider Edgington as the Great Lakes Duo<\/a>.\u00a0 Dr. Reichenbach has toured twice throughout Germany as a member of Eurobrass and led two tours across Europe with university ensembles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Reichenbach received a DMA in Trumpet Performance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where he studied with Ronald Romm and Charles Daval. Previously, he studied with John Hagstrom at DePaul University and Terry Schwartz at Wheaton College. He has participated in wind conducting master classes with Mallory Thompson, Michael Haithcock, Craig Kirchhoff, Linda Moorhouse, and Paula Crider.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
