We teach these students an alternative means of communicating.\u00a0 Alternative communications options include (but are not limited to) sign language, Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS), other picture communication devices.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva,sans-serif\"> <\/div><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva,sans-serif\"> <div class=\"arconix-accordion-title accordion-strongVisualSchedulesstrong arconix-accordion-last\"><i class=\"fa\"><\/i><p><strong>Visual Schedules<\/strong><\/p><\/div><div class=\"arconix-accordion-content arconix-accordion-last\"><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 12pt;font-family: verdana,geneva,sans-serif\"> Because students with ASD tend to be highly visual, LUDIC incorporates visual schedules to help many students transition from one activity to the next.
