These projects help to develop students&#8217; critical thinking skills and to give them valuable professional experience and training in fieldwork.\u00a0 The other anthropology\u00a0\u00a0professors in the Department, Murl Dirksen and Alan Wheeler, provide additional opportunities for students to do ethnographic research in domestic and international situations.<\/p>\n<p><a
